Isn’t it amazing how the more things change, the more they stay the same? It seems the world is spinning fast and technology is changing everything, yet I can still read an article on wealth principles written in the 1800′s that is so timeless and accurate it survives to this day.
I think it is worthwhile to bring these classic writings to your attention so I just added Andrew Carnegie’s The Gospel of Wealth to this website. It was an important educational treatise on wealth in its day – and is just as important today.
What I find particularly intriguing about The Gospel Of Wealth is how one of the greatest industrialists and philanthropists of his day (and all time, for that matter) could take such a politically incorrect view on issues related to wealth. It is impressive how he used his authority status to espouse unpopular and contrarian opinions in The Gospel Of Wealth that have proved timeless and correct. A lesser man would not have gotten away with it.

The Gospel of Wealth is not a short read so make sure you have a few minutes, and some of the language feels dated, but the wisdom is eternal and worthy of the small effort it takes to digest. I think it is fun to see how the passage of time has proven the truth of his wisdom.
