New Retirement Calculators And Financial Calculators
A quick note to let you know I just added 21 retirement calculators and financial calculators to this web site. Why did I do this? They are really helpful tools for retirement planning and plotting your wealth building plans. I use them with my financial coaching clients, and you may find them useful also.
While each calculator performs its own unique function, there are some you may find particularly interesting:
- The Ultimate Retirement Calculator: I had this custom programmed because I noticed how hard it is to do retirement planning scenario analysis with the other online calculators available. Just try and answer the following questions without this calculator and you will see what I mean…
- How is my retirement savings affected if I work part time for 20 years?
- What happens if I sell my house at age 80?
- How would an inheritance affect my retirement savings requirements?
- Supposing I double my inflation assumptions or halve my investment return, what happens then?
These and many more questions can easily and conveniently be answered using this free retirement calculator. It is perfect for planning what I call the "New Retirement" involving phased employment, part-time work, and much more.
- Inflation Calculator: I often tell my coaching clients that inflation is the number one threat to your wealth, but few people really understand what I mean. Now you can see it for yourself by tinkering with this calculator. It is hard to believe the U.S. Government has destroyed roughly 90% of the purchasing power of the dollar twice since the Federal Reserve was created – but that is the ugly truth. Additionally, estimates by credible economists anticipate prices to roughly double in the next 10 years due to the irresponsible bailout and fiscal mismanagement by our government thus accelerating this well established trend. For all these reasons, you may want to tinker with this calculator yourself. Understanding the implications can make or break your financial future.
- Latte Factor Calculator: Another favorite saying of mine is "habits determine your health, wealth, and happiness". All the little stuff accumulates and compounds into big stuff over time. If you're not clear how this works then take this fun little financial calculator out for a test drive. It demonstrates the incredible impact on your wealth of something as simple and small as buying one fancy coffee per day – or any other regular spending habit for that matter – otherwise known as the "Latte Factor". Believe it or not, this one little habit can amount to over a million dollars in just 40 years. Try it for yourself, but make sure you are sitting down first.
This is just a small sampling of the 21 calculators available to help you with retirement planning and various other common financial calculations. They are all free for you to use, and they securely operate within your web browser so no personal information is sent anywhere. They are 100% secure.
Enjoy them, and please let me know what you think of this fun, new, free resource.
