As part of my best-of-the-web series where I bring you quality financial education found on other web sites, I thought you might find the “Crash Course” videos by Chris Martenson a real eye opener.
I spend enormous amounts of time digesting financial and investment literature from a wide variety of sources because it is my passion. Few people share this passion and even fewer have the the time to indulge in all the learning like I do. So when I run across a resource that simplifies and distills a complex body of material into only the most essential-to-know elements then I think it is important to send it your way. These videos are providing you a “royal road” to understanding a certain set of beliefs out there – and they are anything but mainstream.
You won’t necessarily agree with these beliefs, and you most certainly won’t like the implications, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth knowing. These videos will give you access to a lot of information in a short period of time from the convenience of your home and without cost. It doesn’t get any easier than that, and it is certainly a more productive use of time than the evening news.
A word of warning, however, is in order. This is not uplifting stuff. The information shared presents a serious picture of our future. I can’t say whether Chris is right or wrong, but I can say the education offered is well reasoned, succinct, and worthwhile. Whether you like what he says or not, I promise your time spent watching these videos will not be wasted.
